Corpus Christi boasts its own Superfund site, the Brine Service Company, which, for years, simply dumped into pits waste from oil fields and refineries. No cleanup is taking place on the site. It's only recognized as a toxic dump.

I happened upon this blog via an Internet Search for "Corruption in Corpus Christi." I love that you have gathered the evidence and that you speak the truth in an effort to bring about awareness. I think you hit the nail on the head with all 34 (or was it 33?) reasons. Thank you for compiling this. I've only been here a few years and sadly, did not research prior to moving. When I bring up very obvious issues, no one wants to talk about it and I'm not sure if it's because they don't care or perhaps, they'd rather not know. Ignorance is bliss, right?
