Number 6

Corpus Christi's "Go Green Tip of the Month" for April, the month of Earth Day is "Don't Dump Pesticides."  What would be considered unconscionable or criminal in non-suck cities is considered a helpful tip in Corpus Christi.  To help citizens identify harmful pesticides, the city's website shows pictures of a gas can and a scull-and-crossbones labeled bottle that looks like it's filled with blood.

Number 5

Corpus Christi was rated the second dumbest city in America by Men's Health Magazine behind Ft. Wayne Indiana.  Whether or not the criteria are totally bogus, only a city that sucks would even have to defend itself.

Number 4

There are 3 Wal-Marts in the city and they're all on the same road.  There's also five more Wal-Marts within close driving distance.

Number 3

Corpus Christi is trashy.  "anything that falls or is tossed into the Gulf eventually ends up here."

Number 2

Beaches are considered Texas Highways which means that even playing at the beach kids have to watch both ways to avoid getting hit by cars.  Cars can drive nearly the entire length of the world's longest barrier island as long as they're street legal.

Number 1

Corpus Christi boasts its own Superfund site, the Brine Service Company, which, for years, simply dumped into pits waste from oil fields and refineries.  No cleanup is taking place on the site.  It's only recognized as a toxic dump.
